At Trubicars (“we,” “us” or “our”), the privacy and data security of our users (“you” or “your”) matter. We are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through our website at www.trubicars.ca, calling platforms, or booking platform (collectively, “Platform”) in Canada. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains:

Our Platform is intended for individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old and for commercial use only. We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of eighteen (18). By using the Platform, you certify that you are over the age of eighteen (18). a. When You Create an Account or Send Us a Message
When you create an account or message us on our Platform, we may collect your Personal Information because this helps us:

We may also send you important updates about your account, services, or changes to our Terms and Conditions.
b. Signing Up for Promotional or Marketing Communications
Even if you do not create an account, you may choose to provide your Personal Information to receive marketing or promotional information through the Platform, such as discounts and coupon codes. You may opt-out of receiving these communications by unsubscribing via e-mail or phone at any time.
c. When You Book Driving Lessons
We may collect booking details, including, but not limited to:
- Pickup and drop-off addresses (for in-car lessons)
- Device IP address (to protect against fraud)
- Payment information (independently handled by our third-party payment processors like Stripe, Square, or PayPal)
We also may collect your Personal Information in order to connect you to a partner driving school or instructor to carry out your lesson. This information may be used to communicate with you to discuss your booked lesson.
Trubicars does not store your full credit card details.
d. Reviews
If you submit a review on our Platform, your first name and the content included in your review may be displayed publicly or used in Trubicars marketing.
e. Job, Contractor, or Partner Applications
If you apply for employment or as a school onboarding specialist or partner school, we may collect your Personal Information to evaluate and manage your application and our partnership.
f. Sharing Your Personal Information
We will only share Personal Information with a third-party service provider working on our behalf; such as partner driving schools; instructors associated with a booking; third-party payment processors such as Stripe, Square, PayPal, Klarna, and Afterpay; IT and platform service providers; and successor companies if we are ever acquired or merged with another company. We may also share such Personal Information if we are under a duty to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation and to protect our rights or the rights or safety of others.
If you provide us with your Personal Information by using our Platform, we may transfer that Personal Information within our Platform or to a third-party service provider, as necessary. Any Personal Information that is shared with a third party using our Platform will be governed by that third party’s policies, and not this Privacy Policy, and we have no liability to you with respect to such Personal Information.
We currently have no intention, nor do we, sell, rent, or lease any of your Personal Information to third parties, except as may be necessary in connection with any potential merger, acquisition, or any form of transfer or sale, as mentioned above.

If we cannot act on your request, we will provide the reason and explain how to appeal the decision. If you choose to appeal the decision, we will respond within 60 days from the time we receive your appeal.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy, at any time, without additional notice to you; provided however, that any changes will only apply to Personal Information collected after such changes go into effect.
